Danish newspaper Ekstra Bladet has reported that Kasper Schmeichel had opportunities to join Nottingham Forest, Ipswich Town, and Wolves after leaving Anderlecht, but ultimately chose to sign with Celtic.
In discussing his decision, Schmeichel expressed,
