Packers players share their thoughts on the new helmet design

The NFL constantly modifies rules in an effort to keep players safe and healthy, as part of its annual efforts to create a safer league.

This season is no exception, as the NFL has made some adjustments in a few areas. These adjustments include modifications to helmet and jersey designs, as the organisation is constantly seeking to generate revenue off the field through player apparel.

Even though there are some iconic colors and logo designs in the NFL that should never be messed with, sometimes the league gets it right with certain changes or things it does to increase sales.

It appears that the Green Bay Packers will debut white helmets during the upcoming 2024 NFL season, which were shown to some of their players recently.

It sparked quite a reaction from players, including quarterback Jordan Love and newcomer Josh Jacobs, via the team’s social media.

The Packers were viewed as a team that might take a few years to return to being an NFC powerhouse after trading away star quarterback Aaron Rodgers and giving the reins to Love at centre.

That didn’t work out as planned, though, as the Packers had a great second half of the 2023 season. Love rose to fame, and the squad defeated the Dallas Cowboys on the road in the NFL playoffs, pulling off the largest upset.

This season, especially with Jacobs joining the backfield, Green Bay will be expecting big things.
